Happy Eid Al Fitr Celebrations

Wow it is raya time again. I hope everyone is having a good raya celebration. I am just chilling at home.. too tired. Played with my son most of the day. I need a rest. Yet I wish to eat some raya cookies too..

What I only found out lately is that Malaysia loves Stacy soo much she became the AF6 winner. WOW. Really proud that this gutsy girl from Tuavon had caught the hearts of Malaysians.

When I first saw her perform in Q-ball. I was thinking another really young local girl who should be studying instead. Did not realise that she had it in her to win the big AF. That prooves what little I know. Duh again. But congratulations to the little woman with a big voice.

Oh I gotta go stop my Kiddo from trying to hit MOH. Tah... By the way I am enjoying my maternity break so much. I have become too busy even to post a blog. Hmmm..

Happy Mother's Day!

To all Mothers. Happy Mother's day. I heard from the radio that there was a research done on how much a Mother should get paid if there was something like that. They should get 30K per year. That is for being a cook, house cleaner, carer and at times a psychologist. :) It is hard. I work but I also feel for the mothers who are homemakers. I salute you. I cared for my very sick son for one week at home and the work just does not end for mothers. I am not belittling working mothers for running away from the original responsibilities. I am one myself. I am just saying we should appreciate each other wherever we may be. A mother is a lover to the husband, a house cleaner, a laundry person, a cook, a dishwasher, a carer, a milk making machine, a seamstress, a first aider, a counselor, a giver of life, a DIY expert, and in our some places usually the Breadwinner. Jovial and full of life

I thought about you recently and in my heart I was celebrating the fact that you had soo much of life even towards your old age. I never expected you to leave us so soon (00.45 am 11/08/08). I enjoyed your jovialness and your love for life. The way you would seize the day and just have as much fun as you wanted to. You were always the life of the party. You treated everyone of all walks of life with the same attitude. Happy and warm. You make people feel they are appreciated and loved.
