Waiting is such sweet sorrow!

Today is the end of April. My car will arrive in July. Hmmm... two months and a half... the waiting. I know if I do not watch the time, it will fly within a blink of an eye. That knowledge still does not appease me.

Anyhoo what else can take my attention away from my BIG job of marking another 280 exam papers, plus another 44 exam paper which just arrived yesterday for another subject. It is exhausting but I appreciate my friend's comments and advice on the marking method. It does help. Loads. Cheers ladies.

I woke up so tired this morning. I thank my Guardian Angel for getting me safely to work. I got knocked out for 2 hours in the morning after arriving in the office. Maybe I am pushing myself too hard. I have to remember that I am pregnant. I promise to do what I can and not kill myself doing what I must do.

Hiya. Stumble upon yr blog. Just curious, if I may ask, how much did you pay for this car? -ruth
Hi Ruth, Lovely name.. in fact it is one of my options if my newborn would be a girl. :) hope you won't mind. The car.. is just under 100K. Quite expensive but I do not see anything in the same range which looks like what it looks like. Actually there are a few brands which are cheaper like the Daihatsu Tereso or there is another brand which I forgot the name of. Anyhoo I would not buy anything that other than a Toyota. My Dad had a Toyota Celica once it lasted and lasted. It was our family car for about 20 years. I think Toyota's are the BEST type of brand for cars.

Valentine's

Today my first love surprised me with a Valentine's card. It filled my heart almost to popping. I love you My Kiddo. You make me weak and you make me strong. You make me cry and you make me laugh. You make me angry and you tell me to show a happy face.. When I was a teenager, I was a downright Geek.. You were always right Doctor EEEEvil.. I was a Geek. I did not get any flowers, no chocolates or cards on Valentine's day.. This is sooo bloody sad to admit.. hahahha.. Then I went to college and in the world of Geeks.. I became the cool girl. So I had flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and valentine's card. On top of dinner and a movie.. I was spoilt. Thanks ex-bfs for that chance.. hahahhaha.. Then came University. AAAAAaaaah I had soo much anonymous admirers. That was fun guessing. SIGH! Now that I am all grown up and bloomed into.. AHEM.. DOC ROGUE.. The shody-cute simplest pink card with a crayon coloured heart and mozaic angpow tiles makes me feel like a MILLION DOLLARS aaa...

How did they find a Gem of a Guy?

This blog is not a reference point to give a tried and true method of finding a Gem of a Guy but just a sharing of experience. I have talked to a few friends who had good solid marriages and I summarised what I learned from them in this blog. I wrote it as a continuation to my last blog on why do good girls choose bad boys? Every time I met a friend who had a very steady and good husband I never failed to ask them how they found these guys. The first thing they always say is that they never liked their present husbands initially and that they had other choices whom they preferred more. However their present husbands did not give up pursuing them for months or years. These men did not stop showing them how much they were cared for. These men came to visit the family and genuinely tried to show how they appreciate them in front of their families and friends. These men were not self centered. These men would try and know your likes and dislikes. Eventually the genuine care was evident. ...

New beginnings to all Pre U freshers

I have a cousin who said, "Hi kak. U knw ka tdk bgus this our lect,Mcm2 teda2 oo the prof madya di title dorg". Hmmm I thought and thought.. it is true.. very true.. some are bad lecturers.. or can you actually say they are bad lecturers? I replied her,"i know how u feel.. not long ago like 15 years ago.. i was in ur position.. sia kutuk kutuk juga lecturer saya.. but u know what.. now i am a lecturer.. i can see both sides.. u know my problem as a lecturer? the students want me to give them all the answers.. no one thinks.. no one wants to give their own answer.. no one wants to exercise their brain power.. macam sia lecture tu dinding ja.. very sedih and demoralising for us.. u know to lecture a wall.. i have to psyche myself up to be enthusiastic.. but then i see the students who are not even interested in learning... it is difficult.. at tertiary education level u are not only expected to give definitions but u are suppose to learn how to synthesize new information f...
